This British rifle sling was intended to be used on the L1A1 Self Loading Rifle. It replaced the earlier cotton sling of the same design that was in use since 1901. It is made of heavy-duty nylon. It can also be adapted to other uses such as a shoulder strap for bags and packs. These are in good used condition and may need some cleaning.
